* TYPE

Hi Friends!
                I am going to write something about typing. Many of us think that typing is for Computer Science Students. Let me tell friends that I am a Mechanical student and I give typing equal importance than any other skill like spoken English.

Typing is the skill of writing something meaningful specially using keyboard.
Students are asked to prepare presentation in institutions. A worker is asked to prepare a presentation on his work or assignment. There are many work related to typing. However it is not bound to learn typing but typing prevents the frustration which occur if you are going through a lot of typing work. It eases the work as well as saves time. If a person is given to write using keyboard, he will take a lot of time finding the keys and completing the task. But If a person knows typing then it will be easy for him to write number of pages in 1/3 time.

Now Talking about how I learned typing & speed.
I was in my +2 where I was  going to sing a song in the annual function. For that I needed hard copy of the lyrics. I went to the office and I asked one of the person to printout a hard copy of the songs lyrics. The person showed me a Hindi sir who was using a laptop, to get the printout. I asked sir for the lyrics by giving the name of the song which I was going to sing.
He typed very fast, I was amazed. Then I said to myself that I will learn typing someday.

However after I joined B-tech. There we were give a tab. I thought why not buy a keyboard and learn typing myself.
I purchased a keyboard and started learning typing by seeing the videos in YouTube.

From the beginning I typed mostly not looking the keyboard.
Then my typing improved. In my first online test my typing speed(Not looking keyboard) was 1 word per min.
I practice and practice and my speed increased. At present my speed is (82wpm- highest) and 50wpm on average.
* So Friends I recommend you to add one more skill to your personality and learn typing.

* READ

Hi Friends!
                 I am going to write about "Reading."
Most of us don't want to read, in fact I was one of them. One day I thought that how novels are given characters and made into movies. So I thought may be for a change I should go through at least one of  the novel which was made into movie. And then I started reading "Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone."

             While reading the novels I came to know that there are many scenes which was missing in the actual movie as not every scene can be put in 2 Hr movie. I found interesting to read the whole. And there by I started reading  other novels too. Believe it friends , there is a different joy reading novels than seeing movies specially those who love to read. If someone is interested in reading movie based novel then I should advice them to first see the movie because after that when you read novel then you can visually imagine the scenes.
Some Interesting Novels which I recommend you to read are:-

1. Harry Potter - All parts by J.K Rowling

2. Lord Of the Rings - All parts by J.R.R Tolkien

3. The Great Gatsby - F.Scott Fitzgerald

4. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

5. Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

2. "We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand."

7. "People are more important than things."

8."A lot of talks about giving children self-esteem. It's not something you can give ; it's something they have to build. You give them something they can't do, they work hard until they find they can do it, and you just keep repeating the process."

9. "I know you're smart. But everyone here is smart. Smart isn't enough. The kind of people I want on my research team are those who will help everyone feel happy to be here."
